3rd Floor

The 3rd floor has been mostly used for left over furniture, storage, and a place for the grandchildren to play. Through a common entry on the ground floor, access to this level is not difficult, just a long climb.

The room has been reconstructed over the years; floors redone, stone wall preserved, ceiling insulation, electric lights, and the Storage Room constructed out of the main room. A sink and water were installed as well.

Our thinking was that it could be rented out- a great office place for a small business, maybe an artist studio with the great lights. The finished floor could be repolished ; add a bar and mirrors to one wall, and you have a dance studio. With the newest craze ballroom dancing, this is a fine size room for teaching dance. The acoustics in the building are fine- don’t forget those 3 ft stone walls surrounding the building! Noise from the 3rd floor would not disturb the restaurant. Maybe even a loft apartment!

The point is, this floor is a potential moneymaker for any buyer!

This shot is from the landing on the 2nd floor, with the stairs going up to the 3rd level. Note the beautiful stone work, the 5 ft. wide tread, and the door entrance.

     LONGSHOT

This shot looks straight across from doorway to the front windows. To our right is the continuation of the stone work noted on the stairwell. To our left is the closed in storage unit, and the passage to the rear of the room. The hoist is located in that section.

From this angle, standing in front of the windows, we are facing toward the rear left, and the entrance is shown in the middle, with the passageway, hoist, and window behind and to the right. The farthest right shows the storage room door.

View from the front to the left

From this same spot, but turning right, you can see the storage room door on your right and the back windows on your left. Note the finished walls on your right. These cover the exposed stone work for electrical reasons, as well as for carpentry. Also note the beautiful finished floors.

Turning toward the outside wall, we have photographed the beautiful cabinets that came with the building, but were not used in the restaurant. All of it has been refinished and is ready for use.

Looking toward the front

A portion of the front of the room. The front section has ceiling lights installed, as well as a ceiling fan. Again, note the beautiful hardwood floor. There are a total of 3 big windows overlooking the front door of the restaurant below.

This is the hoist. It was originally used by the early owners when this building was a general store. The hoist lifted heavy crates up through a window on the back wall from the ground below. This floor was used for storage. The side door to the storage room is located in front of the hoist.

     STORAGE ROOM

        (10’ X 30’)

This is the inside of the storage room. It is separated from the main room by a floor-to-ceiling partition wall. It has a window overlooking the back yard, and has a working hot/cold water sink.
The room has 2 entrances, the front entrance as shown on previous pictures, and the side door, as shown here, located in front of the heist in the main room.
